Remarkable stuff is secluded in the country outside Rome. My years of exploring have yielded a set of extraordinary walks, along Roman roads and forgotten pathways. I can bring you on a first-hand encounter with the land, the history and the people.
Specially-priced pre-planned packages, open for sign-ups. Group size limited to six. On a typical one-week trip, we walk five to eight miles daily in partly hilly terrain. Our bags are shuttled so we carry only knapsacks. We picnic in beautiful spots and dine in splendid family restaurants. We lodge in cozy village inns, family B&Bs and charming old monasteries.
Choose dates, itinerary, miles to walk, type of lodging, etc. just for your party (two to six). This option offers maximum flexibility. Pick an excursion and customize it to your own tastes, or build a trip from scratch - I'm happy to help you plan the perfect trip.
Our rendezvous point is Rome, one of the world’s most fascinating cities. Spending a few days here before your walk is highly recommended, especially after a long flight.
